TO: ANY AND ALL PERSONS HAVING OR CLAIMING ANY LEGAL OR EQUITABLE INTEREST IN THE LAND SOLD FOR TAXES ON AUGUST 28, 2023, HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED PROPERTY:
Commencing at the Southwest corner of the Southeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 13, Township 4 South, Range 17 West Pearl River County, Mississippi; thence run North 632.1 feet to the Point of Beginning; thence run North 88 degrees 56 minutes East 280 feet to the centerline of McNeil-Sones Chapel paved road; thence run North 01 degrees 38 minutes West 137.1 feet along the centerline of said road; thence run South 88 degrees 27 minutes West 276.7 feet along an existing fence to the West line of said forty; thence run South 124.4 feet to the Point of Beginning, containing 0.835 acres, more or less, and being situated in the Southeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 13, Township 4 South, Range 17 West, Pearl River County, Mississippi. Said property being assessed by the Pearl River County Tax Assessor as Parcel No. 4176130000001700 and further identified as PPIN 13017.
You have been made a Defendant in the Petition filed in this Court by SWEET EXCAPE VACATIONS, LLC, the Petitioners, seeking to CONFIRM TAX TITLE AND REFORM DEEDS/ Defendants other than you are County of Pearl River, State of Mississippi, Hal Kitrell, District Attorney, Mississippi Dept of Revenue, and Jeremy D. Schaubuhut.
You are required to mail or hand-deliver a copy of a written response to the Complaint to the Attorney for the Plaintiff, James L. Gray, 101 E. Canal Street, Ste. E, Post Office Box 1682, Picayune, MS 39466.
YOUR RESPONSE MUST BE MAILED OR DELIVERED NOT LATER THAN THIRTY (30) DAYS AFTER THE 11TH DAY OF FEBRUARY, 2026, WHICH IS THE DATE OF THE FIRST
PUBLICATION OF THIS SUMMONS. IF YOUR RESPONSE IS NOT MAILED OR DELIVERED, A JUDGMENT BY DEFAULT WILL BE ENTERED AGAINST YOU FOR THE MONEY OR OTHER RELIEF DEMANDED IN THE COMPLAINT.
