NOTICE TO INTERESTED BIDDERS

The Board of Trustees for the Picayune School District is now accepting sealed marked bids for 130.613 acres, more or less, on Section 16-6 South - 17 West classified as hunting and fishing lease. Lease period will be from April 14, 2026 until June 30, 2029. Minimum bid of $6.25 per acre. Proof of a $1,000,000 Liability Insurance Policy is required at the signing of lease. Bids will be accepted up to and no later than 2:00 p.m. March 26, 2026 in the office of the Superintendent of Education Office, 706 Goodyear Blvd., Picayune, MS 39466. Contact the Superintendent’s Office at (601) 798-3230 between the hours of 8:00a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Monday - Friday for specifications. Bids will be submitted to the School Board at the next regularly scheduled meeting at 5:30 p.m. on April 14, 2026. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids.

• NO HIGH-POWERED RIFLES - ONLY SHOTGUNS
• MUST HAVE PROOF OF LIABILITY INSURANCE
