IN THE CHANCERY COURT OF PEARL RIVER COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI
IN THE MATTER OF THE ESTATE OF NELSON GREY SMITH, DECEASED
CAUSE NO. 26-PR-28-SM
PROCESS BY PUBLICATION YOU ARE
HEREBY COMMANDED TO SUMMONS:
TO THE HEIRS AT LAW OF NELSON GREY SMITH, DECEASED and any and all persons or parties who are interested in or claim any right, title or interest as heirs NELSON GREY SMITH, Deceased, in the estate including, but not limited to, the unknown heirs-at-law of NELSON GREY SMITH, if they be living and not to be found therein after diligent search and inquiry and whose places of residence, post office, and street and house addresses are unknown after diligent street search and inquiry to ascertain the same, and if dead, their unknown devisees, executors, administrators or legal representatives are not to be found after diligent search and inquiry, and whose places of residence, post offices, and street and house addresses are unknown after diligent search and inquiry to ascertain the same. You have been made Defendants in the estate proceeding filed in the Court by Laurie Ann Nelson, Executrix, in the Petition to probate will in common and solemn form, appoint executrix and issue letters of testamentary.
IF TO BE FOUND IN THIS COUNTY, to be and appear before the Honorable Shelia Smallwood of the Chancery Court of Forrest County, at a Court to be held at the Courthouse in Hattiesburg, Mississippi thereof on the July 23rd 2026, 9:00 a.m., next, then and there to show cause, if any they can why the will should not be admitted to probate and to assert any claim they may have in the will or estate and why Laurie Ann Nelson, should not be named Executrix; and that the following persons are interested parties to this Petition for probate as best can be determined by the Petitioner after diligent search and inquiry, to wit: Laurie Ann Nelson, Taylor Smith and Torey Smith, Dana Lee Spiers, Erica Rae Cox, David W. Williams, III, and Wendy Bogil; and to show why they should not be declared the beneficiaries, devisees, legatees and or heirs-at-law of the deceased; and why the Last Will and Testament of NELSON GREY SMITH, Deceased, should not be admitted to probate in solemn form according to law, and further to do and suffer such things as shall be considered and ordered by the Court aforesaid in the premises, and have then and there this writ, with an endorsement thereon to the manner in which you shall have served.
YOU ARE SUMMONED TO APPEAR and defend against the Complaint/Petition filed against you in this action on the date and time as set forth hereinabove before the Honorable Shelia Smallwood in the Chancery Court of Forrest County, Mississippi; and in case of your failure to appear and defend, a judgment will be entered against you for the relief demanded in the Petition. You are not required to file answer or other pleadings, but you may do so if you desire by filing it in the office of the Chancery Court of Pearl River County and sending a copy of your answer to Tyler Alexander, 1016 Sixth Ave., STE A, Picayune, Mississippi 39466.
