PINE STRAW LEASE FOR SALE
ON POPLARVILLE SCHOOL DISTRICT TRUST LANDS

SEALED bids will be received by the Poplarville School District Board of Trustees, 302 South Julia Street, Poplarville, MS 39470 up to and not later than 10:00 a.m. on October 19, 2026 at the Poplarville School District Board of Trustees located in Poplarville, MS. Bids will be received for the purchase on a per-acre basis for all pine straw bi product of the timber, designated for harvesting on approximately +35 acres in Section 16, Township 4 South, Range 14 West, Pearl River County, Mississippi.

The lease is on an acre basis of +35 acre pine stand. The area is a 30 year old longleaf pine stand with an average height of 32 feet and an average DBH of 7 inches. At present the total basal area is 115 square feet per acre.

Before bids are submitted, full information concerning the conditions of the lease and the submission of bids should be obtained from the Pearl River County Office, Mississippi Forestry Commission.
